Use WordPress to run your Business Web site. Dynamic publishing has many benefits and the programming is already done. A custom theme to match your business branding is a great way to improve your findablity.

Excellent Combo: Flash, WordPress and iPhone

Harvest Landscape Enterprises, Inc. now has a new template based site running with an excellent conbination of a Flash Template, WordPress publishing system and iPhone integration. The web site owner is very pleased to integrate the use of the iPhone and application for WordPress to update his site on the fly. Not only does the owner use the iPhone to update the site, but his management team also uses this smart mobile device as well. This creates a great opportunity for publishing the story of how Harvest Landscape serves their clients. The company plans to update their blog directly from project sites (road-side) to show off their services.

In addition, an animated (flash) web site adds a great look and feel to the company’s image. Their previous site was only a few static pages without any dynamic publishing features. Because the web browser on the iPhone, Safari, currently doesn’t support the AdobeĀ® Flash plug-in, the WordPress engine serves up an alternate site using a mobile phone theme for small screen viewers. The blog engine also offers an alternate HTML version for non-Flash visitors.

Project Goal: The company website needed to be refreshed; the previous content was minimal. This state was not aligned with an established company in the second generation of ownership. The site needed to be re-designed and allow for content growth. Client wanted to use animation to have flashy website, but needed to maximize costs.

Solution Summary: We offered to implement a pre-designed template to minimize creative costs. We customized the template allowing for content management and included a blog inside the flash content. By putting the content into a database the updates could be delegated to staff.
